Fran opened McDonald Physical Therapy in 1989 and is the president and CEO of McDonald Physical Therapy. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Professional Studies and Theology and from Daeman College with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He then earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University. Fran is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and is certified in the Workwell Systems. He has a Specialist Certification in Orthopaedics as well as specialized training in each of the following approaches to and techniques in physical therapy: Maitland, Mulligan, Cyriax, McKenzie, Travell, McConnell, Gary Gray, myofascial release, and neurotension release. Fran is a member of the APTA, as well as a section member of the Private Practice, Geriatric, Administrative, and Manual Therapy sections.

Fran enjoys vacationing with his family, assisting service organizations, reading, and exercising.
